Content is presented by more than 25 expert faculty from across many disciplines in the field of procurement and transplant.  All course materials have been updated to reflect the most recent updates to policy and reflect best practices being implemented by OPO’s and transplant centers across the United States.

The Introductory Courses for Procurement and Transplant Professionals have been a trusted source of education and training for the community since 1982.

 

Target Audience
The Introductory Course is designed to provide basic information to procurement or transplant professionals. Due to the intense nature of the course, faculty members suggest that participants have a least one month of on-the-job experience in transplantation or donation before attending the course.

Learning Outcomes

Attendees will be able to apply the knowledge received from this course in order to perform the role of the transplant coordinator or the procurement coordinator. Attendees will be able to verbalize the role and responsibilities of these specialty positions.

Criteria for successful completion includes attending each session within a track and turning in an evaluation form.


This program has been approved by the American Board for Transplant Certification for 21.75 (Category 1) CEPTC.
