Washington Representation that can effectively present ways the nation can improve patient, donor and family care while reducing the frustrations and challenges you face in daily practice. Transplant professionals influence legislation and positively impact their practice when they participate in NATCO’s grassroots efforts. Stay informed through the website and broadcast e-mails when NATCO weighs in on proposed legislation, presents expert testimony before congressional committees or suggests new legislation when meeting with health care staffers. NATCO also holds a position on the UNOS/OPTN Board of Directors and a position the UNOS/OPTN Executive Committee. Several NATCO members serve on UNOS/OPTN committees that recommend new policies or changes to existing policies.

Types of Membership

Practitioner: ($175) Professionals who primary responsibilities are directly involved with the coordination of care for transplant candidates, recipients, donors and donor families or whose responsibilities include the facilitation of the increase in organ donation.

Colleague: ($175) Individuals who do not meet the definition of practitioner member, but whose interest or efforts are beneficial to NATCO.



ASTS Dual Membership

ASTS Dual Membership . . . available only to current NATCO members who have been members of the organization for three or more years. We have again partnered with the American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS) to allow NATCO members to join ASTS as an Associate Member at a reduced membership rate of $100 ($125 value).
